WHO ARE THE PWWT BOARD OF DIRECTORS?
Board members make a difference at The Pioneertown Wild West Theater. Our Board of Directors guides our strategic direction and our long-term sustainability. Their leadership helps ensure our vision and values and our commitment to excellence.

The Bravados

Dedication. Expertise. Passion.
The PWWT Team takes on various positions at the theater, varying from Director to Choreographer, Production, Stunt Person, etc., these people bring our show to life. Our show's production staff is directly responsible for the artistic integrity of the theater. The Production Staff is chosen on a per-show basis. The Director is our Board President and he guides the vision for the show, and each of the other positions is chosen with the Director’s input.
Eddie Costello
Eddie Costello was born and raised in Yucca Valley and has been a Morongo Basin native for over 25 years. Growing up here, he often found his way to the streets of Pioneertown to watch many of the old west reenactment groups throughout the years. Eddie has always been fascinated with the Old West, both historical and theatrical. His late father, Ben Costello was an actor, author, and western reenactor. In the early 80’s, Ben was a part of the original Bravados club, performing here in Pioneertown. Eddie traveled the country with his father to visit rodeos, old west conventions, ghost towns, and more while promoting Ben’s book on the television classic western, Gunsmoke. Eddie has been apart of Cowboy Fast draw clubs and has won a few local fast draw competitions out in Arizona, during college. He was also apart of the last group here at the Wild West Theater and is excited to bring new ideas and stories to the theater. Eddie hopes to bring his love and admiration of the Old West to our show and hopes you come to enjoy the American Old West as much as he does.
Richard Brewer
Richard Brewer met his wife when they lived in Illinois. They met on the school bus; she was 14 and he was 15. They’ve been married for 56 years with no children. He married the first girl he ever kissed. They both moved to California in 1977, and to the Morongo Valley in 2000, where they currently live on 2.5 acres. They built a western village there with three horse and two dogs.
In 1967, Richard graduated college with a degree in accounting. In 1974, he became a profession Auctioneer and in 1987, he became a Square Dance Caller. In 1989, him and his wife and lead 12 square dancers in a two week tour of Russia where they danced with the Russian Ballet and danced in Red Square. For three years, as an actor. He has had the role as “Mayor” in the Pioneertown Wild West Theater. Him and his wife regularly attend the Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel church in Yucca Valley, Ca.
Stacy Brewer as -Coren Bread Sue
Stacy Brewer is originally from Long Beach, California and she moved to Yucca Valley in 2019, and has recently moved to Twentynine Palms. She has been a medical transcriber for over 20 years. Her and her partner (Virgil) own the “Mine Train Smokery”, a local catering company primarily serving the 29 Palms Marine Base. They can sometimes be found at the Chuck Wagen Comedy Show at Pioneertown.
Stacy has always had a passion for theater, and she’s thrilled to be a part of The Bravados! After almost 26 year hiatus from theatre, she jumped at the chance to be in a wild west show in Pioneertown! In her spare time, she also enjoys her family and being creative in doing crafts and taking pictures. Her goal is to one day to have a rescue ranch for donkeys, horses and other animals. During Stacy’s time of living in the hi-desert, she is grateful to have met so many genuinely kind and awesome people.
Anita Petke as -Bella Rose
Anita M. Petke has been a resident of the Mohave Desert on and off since 1978. She is a resident of Morongo Valley, Ca. She sat on the Pioneertown Wild West Theater board back in 2018, and has come back as the board secretary of The Pioneertown Wild West Theater and as an actress.
Anita enjoys photographer and writing, and has been a long time resident of the Mojave Desert, she believes in admiring the Joshua Tree without touching them.
